2. BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE Declaration (Google Play Compliance)

Our Android Application requires the BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE permission. This permission is strictly used on-device solely for the core functionality of reading payment notifications received from authorized Indian UPI payment applications (such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Cred, and Amazon Pay).

Important Data Safety Notice: SoundPe DOES NOT read, record, store, or transmit your private chat messages, WhatsApp chats, personal SMS, banking passwords, or OTPs. All notification parsing happens locally in device memory.

3. Information We Collect

Merchant Account Information: Mobile phone number, Business/Shop Name, and chosen language preference.
Subscription Data: In-app purchase and plan records via verified payment gateways (Razorpay).
Device Identification: Anonymous Device ID to maintain subscription validity and prevent unauthorized sharing.

4. Data Security

We employ industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers. We do not sell or rent merchant data to third parties or marketing brokers.
